The Toronto based architecture firm ARK has been awarded recognition and prizes for their Uja Federation Community Complex. The complex has been designed to unite and create synergies between a broad array of community services, including child & health care, sports & recreation, arts & culture, and community & spirituality. All of this has been integrated in a transparent 34 000 square meter, three storey complex.
- We felt that the goal of the architecture was to make meaningful connections between the diverse uses.
